To strengthen exchange and cooperation in Flower Culture field internationally,the Flower Culture Committee of China Flower Associationand Southeast University will co-organized an International Conference onFlower Culture on Sep. 22-24, 2007 in Dong Jiao State Guest House, Nanjing, China. Theconference will be undertaken by School of Tourism Science of Southeast University and Jiangsu Oriental Tour Consulting Company, with the supportfrom relevant departments.

　　The theme of this conference is ‘Flower and Tourism’. Topics include but are not limited to the following points: theme parks featuring in flowers, study of plant resources, flower as tourist products, flower as food, flower and tourism aesthetics, flower and tourist festivals etc. A collection of articles on these topics will be published for the conference.

　　We believe this event will be an outstanding opportunity to make broad exchanges for the updated flower application technology.

　　Hereby we sincerely invite you to attend the conference and contribute articles with your wise and unique ideas on flower culture.

　　Articles for the conference should meet the following requirements:
　　1. Articles from foreign experts shall be written in English.
　　2. Articles should be related to the field of ‘Flower and Tourism’ and mainly concerned about the theoretical or practical application of flowers. Materials purely for commercial advertisement, product introduction or equipment promotion is unacceptable.
　　3. Articles should be in the form of full column and submitted by CD-ROM or E-mail in Microsoft Word Format.
　　4. A brief biography and a black-and-white photograph of 2.5cm (W) ×3cm (H) of the author are required to submit together with the article.

　　Please make sure your article(s) be submitted to the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee before the deadline (Abstract submission deadline: 5th, July, 2007; Complete article submission deadline: 5th, Aug, 2007).
